For almost 20 years, Aurélie Clérault has been exploring figurative painting, influenced by great masters such as Degas, Caillebotte, and Edward Hopper, whose worlds have profoundly shaped her artistic sensibility.

Through her work, she seeks to capture the poetry of everyday life: a moment frozen in time, soft light, a discreet presence in a familiar setting. Painting primarily in oils, Aurélie plays with nuances and contrasts to create hushed atmospheres and urban scenes imbued with calm and humanity.
